Does BudgetJar sync across devices?
BudgetJar stores your data privately on the device it is installed on. Cross-device sync is on the roadmap, with optional iCloud on iOS and Google Drive on Android.
Which currencies are supported?
Over 30 currencies with their native symbols, including USD, EUR, GBP, INR, JPY, CNY, AUD, CAD, and more. The full list lives in Settings, and switching re-renders every amount across the app.
What is included in the free tier?
You can log up to 15 transactions for free. Every feature is available including recurring templates, statistics, and category budgets. Ads appear on iOS for free users and go away with Pro.
Can I set a budget for each category?
Yes. Long-press an expense category tile to set a monthly cap. BudgetJar shows an amber warning at 80 percent and a red flag when you go over 100 percent.
Does BudgetJar work offline?
Yes. All your data is stored on-device, so the app works fully without an internet connection. A connection is only needed the first time for purchases or anonymous analytics.
How do recurring transactions work?
Set a template with frequency daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. BudgetJar creates due transactions every time you open the app, and you can pause, resume, or delete any template from the Recurring screen.
